Privacy Policy (Mobile Application :- Rohtang Permit)
National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has Developed the “Rohtang Permit” mobile app for Tourism Development Council Manali Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.
This app is meant to facilitate the tourists visiting Rohtang Pass by providing the infomration of permit issuance and gives the facility to view the issued permit details.
- Camera Permission : The app asks for Camera Permission. This permission is used to scan the barcode printed on permit to get the details of vehicle visiting Rohtnag Pass.
Privacy Policy (Mobile Application :- Rohtang Permits Monitor)
National Informatics Centre, Himachal Pradesh has Developed the “Rohtang Permits Monitor” mobile app for Tourism Development Council Manali Kullu, Himachal Pradesh.
This app is meant to enables the Administration to Monitor and Manage the vehicular movement to Rohtang Pass. The application aims to log the movement of vehicle with valid
permits to Rohtang Pass.
The app has three roles namely; Barrier User, Magistrate and Administrator. The barrier user check-in or check-out the permit by scanning QR code while entering or leaving
the circuit. The magistrate role can carry out random inspection of vehicles found in the restricted area to check the validity and logging of the permit. The Administrator
will get the dashboard showing the summary of vehicular traffic to the Rohtang Pass.
The application will assist in searching the vehicle details by permit number, vehicle number or mobile number. With the proper logging of permits application can also assist by providing the details of vehicles which were lying stranded in the circuit at the time of any calamity or heavy snow.
Information Collection, Use, Disclose and Safeguard Rohtang Permits Monitor logs the locational parameters of the point where the permit is logged into the application by collecting the user’s GPS coordinates. The application uses the following permissions:
